Ο Δίας, νικητής κατά των Τιτάνων χρειάστηκε να αγωνιστεί σκληρά, για να εξασφαλίσει τον Ολύμπιο θρόνο. Ομόφωνα οι αρχαίοι συγγραφείς τοποθετούν το πεδίο της μάχης των Γιγάντων και των θεών στο δυτικό τμήμα της Χαλκιδικής. Εκεί, σε μακρινή απόσταση από τον Όλυμπο, βρισκόταν το πεδίο της Φλέγρας, δηλαδή τόπος της φωτιάς, μια περιοχή άγρια. Πρόκειται για τη σημερινή Κασσάνδρα της Χαλκιδικής.
Στην πρώτη γραμμή του στρατοπέδου των θεών ήταν ο Δίας και η Αθηνά. Επεμβαίνουν όμως και άλλες θεότητες: η Ήρα, ο Απόλλωνας, ο Ήφαιστος, η Άρτεμη, ο Ποσειδώνας, η Αφροδίτη, η Εκάτη αλλά και οι Μοίρες. Και κάθε ένας από τους θεούς και κάθε μια απ’ τις θεές ερχόταν σε συμπλοκή με έναν ή περισσότερους Γίγαντες. Οι γνωστότεροι Γίγαντες ήταν: ο Πορφυρίων, ο Αλκυονεύς, ο Εγκέλαδος, ο Εφιάλτης, ο Εύρυτος, ο Κλυτίος, ο Πολυβότης, ο Πάλλας, ο Ιππόλυτος, ο Γρατίων, ο Άγριος και ο Θόων.
Όπως και στην Τιτανομαχία, έτσι και στην Γιγαντομαχία, ο Δίας αναγκάστηκε να επικαλεστεί τη βοήθεια και άλλων δυνάμεων. Και κάλεσε έναν θνητό αυτή τη φορά τον Ηρακλή -που καμιά φορά τον συνοδεύει και ο Διόνυσος.

Text-To-Image Art (VQGAN+CLIP)

In mid 2021, the online art scene exploded with the invention of an amazing text-to-image art generation method known as VQGAN+CLIP. Previous text-to-image methods had been interesting but not interesting enough to add to NightCafe Creator. VQGAN+CLIP was an order of magnitude better, and the NightCafe team worked quickly to add it to our offering. It quickly became the app's most popular creation method.

NightCafe Creator was founded by Angus Russell in November 2019 from the spare bedroom of his tiny semi-detached house in Sydney’s Inner-West. As of October 2022, over 35 million AI-generated artworks have been created on the platform.
Angus started NightCafe after a house guest commented on how bare his walls looked. Angus agreed, and jumped online the next day to look for some art to buy. After scrolling through hundreds of pages of artworks on every wall-art store he could find, he was left unsatisfied. Nothing seemed personal enough. You couldn't have a conversation about it with a visitor.
Having known that AI Art had been a thing for years, he thought "maybe I can generate some more personalised art using AI". Surprisingly, his Google searches yielded few results. Forgetting about his own walls, Angus became obsessed with making this "obvious" idea available to the world.

The NightCafe Story

★ Poseidon - God of the Sea. In charge of all water bodies and their associated natural calamities, Poseidon's influence also affected the seas and oceans, rivers and lakes, storms and hurricanes, tsunamis, and earthquakes, as well as horses. His symbols included the horse, bull, trident, and dolphin.
★ Dionysus - The God of Wine. He was the god of wine and strong drinks, the grapevine, fertility, festivity, ecstasy, and madness, as well as resurrection. His symbols included the grapevine, ivy, cup, tiger, leopard, panther, dolphin, goat, and pinecone.
★ Apollo - The God of the Sun. He was the god of light, the sun, prophecy and philosophy, truth and inspiration, the arts, poetry and music, medicine, healing, and the plague. His symbols included the sun, swan, lyre, and mouse.

Zeus - The King of the Gods. He was the overall ruler of Mount Olympus and the king of all the Olympian gods of Greece. He was the lord and controller of the weather, that is, god of the sky, lightning and thunder, law and order, as well as justice. His symbols included the thunderbolt, eagle, lion, scepter, oak tree, and scales.
